AI in Education Conference

Focusing on the integration of AI into Education, this conference is designed to empower PVI, school, and college leaders to navigate the future of artificial intelligence with clarity and confidence. 

Grounded in the latest DfE guidance, the day offers a unique blend of strategic insight, practical tools, and collaborative planning. 

The event is delivered through a strategic partnership between SIL and Liverpool Hope University, combining deep expertise in school improvement, educator development, digital strategy, and AI research. 

At the heart of this collaboration is Professor David Reid, a distinguished Professor of AI and Spatial Computing, and Damien Maguire, Associate Dean at Liverpool Hope University. 

Their work bridges cutting-edge AI research with real-world educational improvement.  

Delegates will have the opportunity to hear their keynotes and attend practical workshops.

Lunch is included, and refreshments will be served throughout the day.

Keynotes & Delivered

Keynotes & workshops delivered by leading Professor David Reid, Damien Maguire & Lisa Baggaley will explore the opportunities, risks, and future of AI in education, with time dedicated to networking, reflection, and answering your questions.

Four sessions led by colleagues from SIL and Liverpool Hope University focus on 

1. AI Readiness – Assess your school’s digital maturity 
2. Safe, Ethical & Effective Use – Understand risks and responsibilities
3. AI in the Classroom – Explore real-world teaching applications with examples of how schools currently use tools. 
4. Strategic Planning – Build your school’s digital action plan with guidance and advice
