Course Overview
This Train-the-Trainer SEND Advocacy Programme is designed for local authorities and multi-academy trusts who want to build capacity by training identified staff and SEND leads to deliver this programme to schools.
Participants will attend specialist sessions delivered by the SIL team, gaining the skills, resources, and confidence to access the materials and deliver SEND Advocacy training within their own networks.
A site licence will be provided, enabling trained individuals to cascade the training to agreed audiences across schools.
Networking opportunities and quality assurance support from the SIL team will ensure consistency and impact.
This programme complements Ofsted’s renewed focus on SEND and inclusion, the national curriculum review recommendations on adaptive teaching, and EEF research on effective SEND practice.
