Course Overview
Relationships and Sex education is an entitlement for all of our learners. Attend this CPD to develop your thinking about what effective delivery and progression looks like for pupils with SEND.
Why Attend?
· This CPD is aimed at anyone delivering PSHE to pupils with SEND, whether in mainstream or special schools.
· We will be exploring strategies for delivering effective RSE to meet the needs of learners with SEND, and considering what progression looks like, ensuring that you have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to deliver a meaningful, high-quality, inclusive provision.
· We will explore the importance of providing accessible, tailored RSE that meets the diverse needs of learners, empowering them to develop a positive understanding of health, relationships, consent, and personal well-being.
What will it cover?
· The course also addresses common challenges in RSE delivery, including managing sensitive topics, responding to pupil questions, and engaging with parents and carers. We will focus on how to address these complex issues safely and constructively, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the young people we work with.
· By the end of the course, participants will feel empowered to deliver RSE with clarity, sensitivity, and confidence, fostering positive outcomes for all pupils
