Course Overview

These face-to-face SEND briefings provides comprehensive updates for school leaders and practitioners, combining national statutory developments with relevant local authority priorities. The session will cover the latest SEND reforms, the most recent Department for Education (DfE) data, and local updates, alongside a focused exploration of SEND-focused teaching and learning, adaptive approaches, provision, and curriculum development. The in-person format allows for professional dialogue, discussion, and shared reflection.

Any supplementary info

In response to ongoing delegate feedback, we are continuing to offer both virtual and face to face sessions. All phases of education will be brought together to support practitioner’s knowledge and understanding of a child’s journey through their educational life      

Delegates can also attend the online briefing in the summer term as part of the Tier 2, 3 or 4 SLA package

Course frequency

Delegates should attend one session in the Autumn Term and one session in the Spring term. 

Cost 

These sessions can only be accessed by schools/settings that have a SIL SEND SLA in place (Tiers 2, 3 & 4).

One place is included for Tier 2 &3, with two places for Tier 4. Additional places can be booked for £105. 

All costs are subject to VAT. Failure to cancel or non-attendance will incur costs. All cancellations must be completed online at least 48 hours in advance.
