Course Overview
This is a comprehensive leadership programme based on the most up-to-date research and guidance aimed to equip Early Years Leads with the necessary skills and knowledge to lead, develop and support their staff teams.
Why Attend?
This programme is ideal for Early Years Leaders who are new to the role, as well as those looking to further develop their leadership skills, strengthening their pedagogy to effectively lead change and drive improvement.
What will it cover?
- Initial onsite school visit working with senior leaders and the EYFS lead to evaluate current EYFS provision and support action planning for future development. This will be followed by a whole EYFS team satff meeting to support self evaluation.
- Termly networks for EY Leads focussed on action planning, leading change and identifying key priorities.
- Three online twilights for school governors, subject leaders and the EYFS team.
- Three pre-records released covering relevant EYFS priorities.
- A second onsite school visit to suport school specific priorities and monitor impact of actions taken.
