Course Overview
New to the Role of a Nursery Manager-a comprehensive programme including in person training, online support clinics and on site visits

· Through 3 face-to-face training sessions, 2 online Clinics and a supportive visit, you will gain valuable information to support you in being a confident leader and manager in your setting. 
· This programme is designed to support Liverpool PVI nursery managers who are new to the role. Experienced managers new to a Liverpool PVI nursery are also encouraged to attend.

What will it cover?
This is a comprehensive programme covering areas such as : 
· Local services and support 
· Getting your curriculum right for your children 
· Prioritising Communication and Language 
· Being confident with self-evaluation and identifying priorities (meeting statutory requirements/ Ofsted) 
· Leadership / Management styles 
· Managing staff 
· Outdoor Learning

Who should attend?
If you are new to the role of manager in a Liverpool setting or if you would like additional training to strengthen the leadership of your setting you are welcome to attend

Cost
One fully-funded place for staff from Liverpool Authority PVIs. There are a series of events throughout the year in this programme so a commitment to attend all sessions is required
