About the Role

We are looking to appoint a HLTA who is passionate about education, resilient in their goal of continued self-improvement, and who fosters a love of learning in children. You must enjoy working in a fully inclusive school and share the school’s vision of making a real difference to the lives of our children through equality of opportunity, raising aspirations, and fostering a love of learning. We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.

Personal Qualities

Meet HLTA standards, have HLTA qualification or equivalent. Demonstrable levels of numeracy & literacy equivalent to GCSE (A-C) or NVQ Level 3. Attend induction training; Intervention training as appropriate and training relevant to the post, including behaviour management and Child Protection training. Proven experience of working with children in an educational setting.
