About the Role

Duties will include:-
• Being responsible for ensuring that each pupil receives an appropriate curriculum including a sensory curriculum where appropriate, taking full account of the SEN of individual pupils and the class groups. The curriculum will be based on the requirements of the EYFS Curriculum/Key Stages 1-4 of the National Curriculum, as well as any specialist provision deemed appropriate to support the individual needs of the pupils. 
• Being responsible for writing an annual report to parents detailing pupil progress and next steps for improvement
• Promotion and contribute to the development of school aims, policies and practices.
• Production of relevant reports for Annual Reviews and chair the meetings as required. They will be required to complete Action Plans from these meetings and the associated IEP’s/ILP’s which will be written and reviewed in line with school policy.

Experience
