About the Organisation

Gwladys Street is a large, friendly, two form entry primary school with an attachments and trauma informed practice. We have a nursery on site with capacity for 102 pupils. Here at Gwladys Street we are extremely proud of our multi-cultural school. Children speak a vast range of different languages and everyone’s cultures and ethnic backgrounds are respected.

About the Role

We are looking to appoint an outstanding and experienced Class Teacher with a strong understanding of teaching and learning. The candidate must have a caring nature and be passionate about supporting the needs of all pupils to achieve their full potential. You must enjoy working in a fully inclusive school and share in the school’s vision of making a real difference to the lives of our children. 
Applicants must demonstrate success in and be committed to raising standards through excellent teaching and learning, which engages, motivates and challenges all pupils. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate how they make effective use of assessments to ensure progress and achievement in their chosen Key Stage.


At Gwladys Street we invest in our staff and are happy to support engagement in NPQ programs to develop leaders for the future. As the school has grown in pupil numbers in recent years, this has created leadership opportunities.
