Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday
9.00am – 3.30pm
30 hours per week
38 weeks per year (Term Time Only)
Working alongside our teaching staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring every child is able to thrive both academically and personally.
The successful candidate will:
-Support teaching and learning within the classroom.
-Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
-Encourage pupils to become confident, resilient and independent learners.
-Support children with their personal, emotional and social development.
-Help maintain a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment.
-Prepare and organise classroom resources.
-Assist with planning, observation and assessment where appropriate.
-Promote positive behaviour throughout the school.
-Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
-Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team.
-Contribute positively to the warm, welcoming ethos that makes Fazakerley Primary School such a special place to learn and work.

We are looking for someone who:
Essential
-Holds a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Learning Support qualification (or equivalent).
-Has experience of supporting children within a primary school or educational setting.
-Is patient, caring and nurturing with high expectations for every child.
-Can build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.
-Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-Is enthusiastic, adaptable and willing to contribute to all aspects of school life.
-Demonstrates a commitment to inclusion and ensuring every child achieves success.
-Understands safeguarding responsibilities and maintains confidentiality at all times.
-Has good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
Desirable
-Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
-Knowledge of intervention programmes and inclusive classroom practice.
-Experience of supporting children's emotional wellbeing and behaviour.
-First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
