The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to access learning, develop independence and achieve their full potential. This role may involve supporting pupils with a range of needs including communication, learning, social, emotional, sensory and physical difficulties.
Key responsibilities will include:
● Supporting pupils in lessons and implementing planned learning activities under the direction of the class teacher.
● Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups to promote learning and inclusion.
● Assisting with monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress.
● Supporting pupils' personal care, welfare and health needs where required.
● Helping to prepare and organise learning resources and classroom environments.
● Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies to meet pupils' needs.
● Promoting positive behaviour, independence and social development.

Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 3.15pm
