As a Midday Supervisor, you will play an essential part in ensuring our lunchtimes are safe, enjoyable and well organised. You will supervise children during lunch and playtimes, encourage positive behaviour, support pupils to build friendships and help organise engaging playground activities.
You will also:
● supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground
● promote positive behaviour and inclusive play
● support children’s welfare and safety at all times
● administer basic first aid where required
● work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure a positive lunchtime experience.
We are looking for someone who:
● enjoys working with children and building positive relationships
● is calm, caring and patient
● can encourage positive behaviour and social interaction
● works well as part of a team
● understands the importance of safeguarding and children’s welfare
● is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to making a difference every day.
Experience of working with primary-aged children is desirable, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
